Questions about Velonix, answered

Services & Process

What services does Velonix offer?

Velonix Software Solution offers six services: web development, app development, AI-powered products and automation, digital growth and LinkedIn management, web management and maintenance, and technical writing. Each is scoped on its own, so you can start with one or combine several. The Services page sets out what each one includes.

Do you build AI-powered products?

Yes. Velonix builds AI features where they genuinely save time or add value: chat and support assistants, content generation, search and workflow automation, including LLM features inside a product you already have. Each is scoped to a clear business outcome, with plain guidance on what it will take to run and maintain.

Do you offer support after launch?

Yes. Every build includes a period after launch for fixing bugs, and its length is set in your project agreement. For ongoing care, Velonix's Web Management & Maintenance service keeps a site reliable after it goes live: content and copy updates, performance and uptime monitoring, dependency and security patching, and small feature additions over time. It is scoped and priced separately from the build, so you only pay for the support you actually need.

What technologies do you work with?

Velonix works mainly in React, Next.js, TypeScript and Tailwind CSS for websites and web apps, Flutter for mobile apps, and WordPress when a site needs to be edited without a developer, with Node.js and modern APIs on the back end and LLM tooling for AI features. Other platforms are fine when a project calls for them. Code is structured so your own team, or another developer, can pick it up and extend it without starting over.

Is Velonix a large agency, or a small team?

Velonix is a small, focused team, not a large agency - every project is handled directly by the people building it, not passed between separate account and delivery teams. That means direct communication throughout, without the overhead of a big agency.

Can I see real examples of your work before deciding?

Yes. Our Work page lists live client projects with links to the actual sites - including Karthik & Co., Ferventers, and St. Joseph ITI - plus LinkedIn growth work for SecumintIT and for the founder of SKJ Digital Media. Nothing there is a mockup or concept; it's all shipped and in use.

Do you manage LinkedIn for individuals, or only for companies?

Both. Velonix has managed a company page's LinkedIn presence and a founder's personal LinkedIn profile, and the approach is the same either way: a content calendar, daily posting and active engagement to build real visibility.

Is SEO included when you build a website?

Yes. On-page SEO is part of every website Velonix builds, not an extra line item: semantic HTML, page titles and descriptions, a sitemap and fast load times are handled during the build. Rankings also depend on things outside the build, such as your content and your competitors, so we don't promise positions.

Pricing & Timelines

How long does a typical website or app take?

It depends on scope, so Velonix gives you a timeline after a short discovery call rather than a guess beforehand. A focused business website usually moves faster than a multi-feature app, and a tight deadline can change how the work is sequenced. The timeline is written into the scope you agree before any work begins.

How much does a project cost?

It depends on your brief: Velonix doesn't publish fixed packages, because most real projects don't fit one. Cost is set by the scope and complexity of the work, your timeline, and whether you need ongoing support, which is scoped separately from the build. Payment terms are agreed per project too. Send a short brief and you'll get an itemised estimate before any work begins.

How do I get started?

Send a short description of what you need through the Contact page. Velonix usually replies within 1–2 business days, often to arrange a call about your goals. After that call you get a clear scope and timeline, and no work begins until you've agreed it.

What should I include in my first message?

A few sentences are enough. Say what you need (a website, an app, an AI feature, LinkedIn growth or writing), what it's for and who will use it, any deadline you're working to, a rough budget, and links to an existing site or examples you like. If you'd like an NDA signed before you share details, say that first.

Working With Us

Do you work with businesses outside India?

Yes. Velonix is a remote-first team in Chennai, India, and can work with clients anywhere in the world: a clear scope and good communication matter more than a shared location. Every project we have published so far is for a client in India. If your working day doesn't overlap our hours, we arrange an online call outside them, in advance.

Have you built a website for a business like mine?

Most of our work so far has been for small businesses in India - a rooftop solar installer, a physiotherapy studio, a vocational training institute, a meal subscription service. If we haven't built for your trade yet, we'll say so on the call rather than claim otherwise.

Where is Velonix based, and what are its working hours?

Velonix Software Solution is based in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India and works remotely. Our hours are Mon – Sat, 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM IST (UTC+5:30), which is 03:30 to 13:30 UTC. The Working Worldwide page converts those hours into your time zone and shows how much of your working day they cover.

How do we communicate during a project?

You work directly with the people building your project, with no account manager in between. Velonix scopes the work with you on a call, then shares progress as it goes: a staging link to click through, a build to try, or the first week of posts to react to. Calls run in our working hours, or outside them by arrangement if you're abroad.

What should I check before hiring a development team in India?

Get five answers in writing before you start: whether they will sign an NDA before your brief, whether the intellectual property is assigned to you in writing, worldwide, on payment, whether they will sign a DPA and the transfer clauses your data needs, which law governs the contract, and how their working hours overlap yours. Velonix publishes its answer to each in this FAQ and on the Working Worldwide page.

Will you sign an NDA before I share my idea?

Yes. Velonix will sign a non-disclosure agreement before you send a brief: ask for one, or send us yours to review. Anything you share while a project is being scoped, including your plans, data and commercial arrangements, is treated as confidential and not passed on or reused, unless the law requires disclosure. Our terms set this out under Confidentiality.

Who owns the code and design when the project is finished?

You do, once the project is paid for in full. Velonix assigns the intellectual property in the final deliverables to you, worldwide and for the full term of those rights, and your project agreement records that assignment in writing. Third-party components and open-source libraries keep their own licences, and the general tools and know-how we bring to every project stay ours - and where any of that is built into what we deliver, you get a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive and irrevocable licence to use it, modify it and pass it on as part of the work, including to your own contractors. Until final payment, we keep the rights in the work we have made; your own content and data stay yours throughout.

Will you sign a data processing agreement or standard contractual clauses?

Yes. If your organisation needs a data processing agreement, or standard contractual clauses to cover a transfer of personal data to India, Velonix will sign them as part of your project agreement. For data from the UK, that means the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or the UK Addendum to those clauses. India isn't covered by an EU or UK adequacy decision, so organisations in the EEA or UK rely on safeguards like these.

Which country's law applies to working with Velonix?

Velonix's terms are governed by the laws of India, with the courts at Chennai, Tamil Nadu having exclusive jurisdiction; if you are a consumer, the protections of the law where you live still apply. For clients outside India, Velonix's project agreements resolve disputes by arbitration seated in Chennai under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, in English, before a sole arbitrator; for clients in India, the courts at Chennai decide. Either party may still ask a court for urgent interim relief. A project agreement can set out its own governing law and dispute resolution, and where it does, that agreement takes precedence for that project.

Whose name are the domain, hosting and admin accounts in?

Usually Velonix sets up the domain, hosting and admin accounts while building your project and hands them over to you when it ends. If you'd rather they sit in your own name from the start, say so and Velonix will work that way instead. Either way, you leave the project holding every login you need.
