At a Glance

We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages help. It never receives what you type into the contact form.

Your information is used only to respond to you and improve this site - never sold, rented, or shared for marketing.

Visitors in the EEA, UK and Switzerland get analytics without cookies. Elsewhere, Google Analytics sets two first-party cookies.

Messages are kept only as long as needed to respond and maintain client records.

A summary only - see the full policy below for details.

01

Information we collect

When you use the contact form, we collect the name, email address, subject and message you provide. As you browse, Google Analytics records the pages you view, the site that referred you, your approximate location (country and city, derived from your IP address), your device, browser, screen size and language, and whether a contact-form message was sent successfully - but never its content or who sent it. We don't use Google Analytics' User-ID or send it anything that identifies you by name or email.

02

How we use it

Contact-form information is used only to respond to your enquiry. Analytics data is used, as totals and trends, to understand which pages are useful and to improve the site. Where the EU or UK General Data Protection Regulation applies, we handle a contact-form message because you have asked us to respond, including about a possible project, and in our legitimate interest in answering enquiries; we run analytics in our legitimate interest in understanding how the site is used. We run no advertising: Google's advertising storage, ad user data and ad personalisation settings are turned off for every visitor. We do not sell, rent, or share your information with third parties for marketing purposes.

03

Cookies and analytics

We use Google Analytics 4, provided by Google, which processes the data on our behalf. Where analytics cookies are used, Google Analytics sets two first-party cookies: _ga (distinguishes browsers, expires after 2 years) and _ga_<ID> (keeps session state, expires after 2 years). If you visit from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, analytics runs in Google's consent mode with analytics storage denied: no analytics cookies are set or read, and Google receives only cookieless signals (such as the page, time and browser type) used for aggregate and modelled reporting. Everywhere else, the cookies above are used. The site also remembers your light/dark theme choice in your browser's local storage; that never leaves your device. See how Google uses information from sites that use its services.

04

Your choices

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, use a content blocker, or install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. The site, including the contact form, works fully without analytics. To ask about, correct or delete information you sent us, email the address below.

05

Service providers

The site is hosted by Vercel, which processes standard request information (such as IP address and browser type) to serve pages and protect against abuse. Messages sent through the contact form are delivered to our inbox by our email provider, Resend, which processes them only to deliver the message. To stop spam, the form keeps short-lived counters keyed to a one-way hash of your IP address - never the address itself - and, for one day, a one-way hash of each message so that a duplicate is not sent twice.

06

Where your information is handled

Velonix Software Solution is based in Chennai, India. A message sent through the contact form is received and read here, by the people who would do the work. Our service providers process it on our behalf: Vercel hosts the site, and Resend delivers form messages to our inbox. If you are writing from outside India, two things are worth knowing plainly. Your information leaves your country when you send it, and India is not covered by an adequacy decision of the European Commission or by UK adequacy regulations, so an organisation in the EEA or the UK transferring personal data to us would rely on its own safeguards for that transfer. Wherever you are, you can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing the address below. If you are in the EEA or the UK you can also object to how we use it, ask us to restrict its use, ask for a copy in a portable form, and complain to your national data protection authority. If your organisation needs a data processing agreement, or standard contractual clauses to cover that transfer - for data from the UK, the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or the UK Addendum to those clauses - ask us and we will sign them as part of your project agreement.

07

Data retention

We keep messages sent through the contact form only as long as needed to respond to your enquiry and maintain a record of past client communication. Google Analytics automatically deletes user- and event-level data after the retention period set on our property (Google's default is 2 months); aggregated reports, such as page-view totals, are kept.
